Faster Throttle Response
The engine and gearbox have been calibrated to provide faster responses when the driver suddenly lifts off the throttle, providing improved predictability and control.
Improved Gearshift Speed
The gear shift speed has been increased to allow the car to accelerate faster and react more directly to driver input.
The throttle response has been enhanced to provide improved feedback and accelerator reaction – ideal for overtaking or cornering during active driving on a twisty road.
Increased engine performance
Polestar has concentrated the power where it is needed most - in the midrange. Combined with faster throttle response and gear changes this makes the car significantly more dynamic to drive.
This feature is included in all new optimisations for AWD vehicles. The upgrade increases torque distribution to the rear wheels of Volvo cars equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD), for more dynamic driving.
